Sustanable developments
Uganda being a developing and agriculture country, where its majority population depends on natural resources for their livelihoods, it is very important for the local communities to understand and appreciate the natural capital as a critical economic asset and a source of public benefits through creating a new focus on the economy, investment, capital and infrastructure, employment and skills and positive socially and environmentally sustainable development.
Therefore, the main objective of this program is to support and strengthen local communities, local government, district leaders, government leaders, cultural and religious leaders, and the private sector to develop and mainstream the macro-economic policies to support the transition to a Green Economy to allow reduced carbon emissions and pollution, enhanced energy and resource efficiency and prevention of the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
